Maryo Compère / Business Development Manager
Education: Boston Architectural College | Architectural Technology & CADD (Computer Aided Drafting & Design)
Professional Background: 10+ years in Software Business Development
How did you get started at Nextpoint? I was connected through Brad Myers and Chris Rodriguez, two members of our marketing and sales team whom I used to work with.
Hobbies and Interests? I was a Kizomba (Traditional Angolan dance) instructor in the summer of 2014.
McKenna Walter / Business Development Representative
Education: Lock Haven University | Business Administration
Professional Background: I’ve worked in Customer Service for 10+ years and Sales for over 4 years. You could say that I enjoy talking to people!
How did you get started at Nextpoint? I was looking on Handshake for remote sales jobs. I came across Nextpoint and the company stood out to me, so I applied! I was especially interested in working in software/tech sales. Technology continues to be an important aspect in our daily lives, so I was intrigued to be a part of the business and learn more!
Hobbies and Interests? Since I have the ability to work remotely and sit at my desk for most of the day, when the work day is over, you’ll normally catch me walking outside for some fresh air or reading a book. Sometimes at the same time!
Shelby Hostetter / Business Development Representative
Education: Adrian College | Business Administration
Professional Background: I’ve worked in sales and BDR roles at a couple car dealerships since graduating college in 2016.
How did you get started at Nextpoint? McKenna referred me! We worked together as BDRs at Andy Mohr Honda. I’ve been in sales for many years now, but never tech sales!
Hobbies and Interests: I was born and raised in New Orleans, and I have a deep love for any fresh seafood, especially crawfish!
