CHICAGO, IL, JUNE 20, 2023 — Nextpoint, a Chicago-based leader in cloud-based ediscovery and litigation management software, has announced the opening of its new office in Bangalore, India. The move comes as part of the company’s efforts to expand its global presence and bolster its software development capabilities, as most of the industry is experiencing layoffs. The Bangalore office will significantly increase Nextpoint’s engineering and development resources, enabling the company to focus on developing new products and features for its suite of legal software.

The Bangalore office is expected to create job opportunities for software developers, engineers, and AWS Cloud engineers. The office will be led by our VP of Engineering, Sirisha Surisetty, who oversees the existing software development team in the U.S.

Nextpoint leadership traveled to India in April to take part in the official launch of the Bangalore office and meet its inaugural cohort of engineers. The new team members shared that they love the company culture so far and are excited to work in a fast-paced tech environment. “We get a lot of support and energy from leaders like Sirisha to move forward and keep pushing,” said Gowthamvel Palanivel, one of the first engineers to join the Bangalore team.
